This is a new model Tesla. The new sedan version follows on from the roadster that featured on last seasons Top Gear. The Model-S has a 300-mile range, a 30 minute quick charge capability (@ a 480v charging station), can carry up to 7 people and can even do 0-60mph in less than 4 seconds. Very impressive, but when you consider that the Tesla roadster took around 16 hours to charge to get 200 miles range from it, will it be any better??
You can't knock Tesla for its looks though. With subtle undertones of Aston Martin, Jaguar and, in my opinion, Maserati, its certainly a looker.
